Shop: Crest Hardware

I'm obsessed with plants, and their greenhouse is great. Franklin the pig is also amazing. I remember when I discovered this place. During my first few months in Brooklyn, I went back every weekend  to add a plant to my collection (and say hi to Franklin).

Eat: Diner

For dinner, for the burger. It's my favorite restaurant in New York. If you know, you know.

Read: 66 Hope Cafe

I love everything about this place; the light, the greenery, the French couple that owns it. Also, they have a strict no cell phone policy, so I can always count on them for a silent place to read or work.

Take a girl friend: Hotel Delmano

For oysters and rosé. It feels like a step back in time, and I'm a sucker for that feeling. Their tequila cocktail, Letters From Mexico, is also my favorite. And the ricotta.

Take a guy friend: Lucky Dog

For the Lagunitas, puppies and bluegrass. It's the first bar I went to in my neighborhood. I took my brother when he visited and couldn't get him out of there.
